Board of Government Advisers, 2019: Via Parijs
As government advisor for the physical living environment, Daan Zandbelt – also a partner at De Zwarte Hond – has been intensively involved in the energy transition in recent years. The provisional result of his research can be read in the recommendations of ‘Via Paris, a design exploration towards a climate neutral Netherlands’. Here Zandbelt and his colleagues recommend not only considering reducing CO2 emissions when choosing measures, but to opt for measures that contribute as much as possible to the environmental quality. ‘If we make the right choices now,’ says Zandbelt, ‘we can use the energy transition to make the Netherlands richer, stronger and cleaner.’
