Construction commences on multifunctional building at the Hoge Veluwe National Park

On 19 March construction commences on the Hoge Veluwe National Park’s new multifunctional building. it will become the park’s new core location, the place where visitors meet and, together, experience the beauty of nature, art and architecture. The welcoming building will accommodate the park restaurant, an information desk, reception areas and the park shop. it replaces the old park restaurant and visitors’ centre that no longer meet the current requirements of the 600,000 people who visit the park annually. The new multifunctional building will form an inspiring unity with the landscape. The design is the work of the Monadnock/De Zwarte Hond architect combination. H+N+S Landschapsarchitecten is responsible for the landscape design, and the Antea Group for the execution.
