De Kruidentuin Community School: child care, sport and education for the long term

The current users of De Kruidentuin understood all too well that together you are stronger when they decided to move into a multifunctional accommodation on the street with the same name in Barendrecht. De Zwarte Hond designed a building where interior and exterior play an ingenious game of collectivity and individuality. On the main road the building displays its recognisable basic design to the neighbourhood. On the access road the various entrances are clearly recognisable. Inside, the central area functions as a meeting and orientation point for the pupils and other users, while other unrelated activities are also possible.
