Golden elevation of Westluidense Poort

The “golden” elevation of the Westluidense Poort culture cluster is rapidly gaining shape. The elevation comprises anodised, gold-coloured, faceted aluminium elements. Together, the folded panels form an origami pattern and the building, when viewed from differing perspectives and distances by the residents of Tiel, appears to be constantly changing.

After the summer, the Westluidense Poort will accommodate a theatre, an arts centre, a library and catering facilities. Click here for more information about the design.
