‘Het Noorderhuis’ published in book ‘Ecological Buildings’

As opposed to a decade ago, when ecological architecture was still often considered a luxury, it now has become practically impossible to build without considering sustainability issues. The recently published book 'New strategies for Sustainable Architecture - Ecological Buildings' published by Braun Publishing, comprises a selection of new and innovative ecological construction solutions from all over the world. Therefore, the multifunctional accomodation 'Het Noorderhuis' in Noordeloos has been selected. The energy neutral building was designed with sustainable materials such as timber. Especially the larch used here from Siberia has significantly less impact on the environment than other building materials.
