MO*town Track 8 reaches highest point
Summer means holidays and many projects enter break mode. But Bouwbedrijf M.J. de Nijs en Zonen B.V. is continuing work on MO*TOWN track 8 this summer. Last week the highest point was reached. and this milestone was appropriately celebrated on Friday.
MO*Town Track 8 is a housing project on a plot around the Sloterdijk station. In the coming years, this will change from a business district into a full-fledged new city district with a large mix of functions. We designed the building as a kind of amphitheatre. This allows residents to see and meet each other a lot in the green outdoor spaces, accompanied by a nice view over Amsterdam.
Our partner/architect Henk Stadens was also present at the festive moment: “Together with the PR departments of De Nijs and BPD | Bouwfonds Gebiedsontwikkeling, we came up with this idea: a drone films and photographs all builders in one shot, on the construction site. This way, we honour all the men and women who just keep working hard this summer. To make Amsterdam just a little bit more beautiful, to add new homes to the city.”
