Preliminary design Cultural Centre in “Hart van Zuid”, Rotterdam

The Kunstenpand in “Hart van Zuid” is to become the energising heart for art and culture in Rotterdam Zuid. A building that inspires, welcomes, seduces and brings all inhabitants closer together. Its working title is “Pand Z” and it will accommodate the Zuidplein Theater, a branch of Rotterdam library and various other cultural functions. This makes it an important component in the “Hart van Zuid” plan, the metamorphosis that the area around the Ahoy Convention Centre/Arena and Zuidplein is currently undergoing.
