“Restructuring Groeseind, Tilburg” in Blauwe Kamer Yearbook 2018

On Saturday 1 December 2018 the Blauwe Kamer Yearbook 2018 (of landscape architecture and urban design in the Netherlands) was presented. During the presentation, organised in Tilburg, Jeroen de Willigen gave an explanation of the Restructuring Groeseind project. According to the Yearbook selection committee – thanks to great attention to detail – this working-class neighbourhood, a “miserable place” has been transformed into a “much sought-after place to live”. in addition to Jeroen de Willigen’s explanatory notes, Riek Bakker and Paul Achterberg were present to talk about their projects in Tilburg that were included in the Blauwe Kamer Yearbook 2018. Further information about the Restructuring Groeseind project can be found here.
