“We need to make renovation sexy again”

Cities are the focus of attention. They have to become more sustainable, while expanding, densifying and transforming. According to Jeroen de Willigen, too many radical solutions are being sought in the design and construction sector, while opportunities in the city that already exists are there for the taking. “We have to use renovation as the answer to future demand,” says Jeroen in an interview for Stedenbouw & Architectuur (Urban Design & Architecture).
