Construction of BoogieWood has officially begun!
With the driving of the first pile, we mark the start of the largest CLT housing project in the Netherlands.
BoogieWood symbolizes sustainable urban development and is a unique project in The Hague: a wooden building with nearly 28,000 m² of gross floor area. This makes BoogieWood not only the largest timber construction project in the Benelux but also a new benchmark for sustainable building.
The design was created in collaboration with OZ Architects, VORM, Local, Haag Wonen, and the municipality of The Hague. The project includes over 700 homes for both first-time buyers and those looking to move up the property ladder. With this, BoogieWood makes a significant contribution to the supply of affordable housing in the municipality of The Hague.
