Herta Mohr and IKC+ Katwijk on the Longlist for the Rijnland Architecture Prize 2025
The longlist for the Rijnland Architecture Prize 2025 by RAP Leiden has been announced: 23 projects, including Herta Mohr and IKC+ Katwijk by De Zwarte Hond.
Herta Mohr in Leiden demonstrates how an educational facility can intertwine with the city, with attention to functionality and sustainability. The new IKC+ Katwijk combines education, care, and childcare in a single building, placing connection and collaboration at its core.
Jury chair Ton Venhoeven:
“The longlist shows how architecture contributes to societal challenges: from innovative university buildings to urgent housing projects and adaptive reuse.”
The shortlist will be announced on September 6. After that, the public will be able to vote. The award ceremony will take place on Wednesday evening, October 15, at Leiden City Hall.
