Honorable mentions design town hall Leimen
The design for a new city hall in Leimen (DE) has received an honorable mention. The city of Leimen is planning to merge various municipal functions together in a new building on the market square. For this purpose a Europe-wide competition was held with 15 participants. De Zwarte Hond and architect Peter Kummermehr combined aesthetics and spaciousness of an administration building with the small size of the village square. Central to the design are mainly the open atmosphere, the efficient management and the multifunctional role of the council chamber.
