Lighthouse nominated for the Dirk Roosenburg Prize 2025
From no fewer than 25 projects in Eindhoven, the jury has selected Lighthouse at Strijp-S as one of the seven nominees for this biennial architecture award.
Jury statement:
“For many, it was a surprise when the scaffolding around Lighthouse finally came down after years. The residential tower turned out to be elegant, slender, and with a distinct silhouette—comprising a base, middle section, and crown. According to the architects, the design refers to the work of Dirk Roosenburg himself — Philips’ house architect and the award’s namesake.”
The jury is now examining how the tower, with its 333 apartments, integrates into the urban fabric of Strijp-S.
The award ceremony will take place in October 2025, during a festive gathering and lecture in Eindhoven.
