Selected to design the ISW Vakcollege+

De Zwarte Hond has been selected to design the ISW Vakcollege+ at Flora Campus Westland. This will be an innovative learning environment where education and practice come together, located in an area dedicated to the future of (greenhouse) horticulture.

The ISW Vakcollege+ will be an inspiring and future-oriented school where students from practical education, VMBO, and MBO collaborate with university students on real-world projects.

Director Sjoerd Timmerman: “With the Vakcollege and Praktijkcollege, we focus on education where learning through practice is a joy. The new building will further enhance and expand this approach, ensuring that every student can reach their full potential. DZH, as the design team, is a perfect match. Their presentation demonstrated their experience in developing buildings that encourage both enjoyment and achievement.”

Bart van Kampen: “We want to create a school with a vibrant heart, where you can see everything happening inside. A place that inspires you and makes you think: this is where I want to go to school—even if you’re 60.”
