Yesterday, the Architecture in the Netherlands Yearbook 2024/2025 was festively launched at the Keilepand. The cover proudly features the Herta Mohr Building in Leiden, renovated and expanded by De Zwarte Hond.

The yearbook serves as the definitive annual snapshot of Dutch architecture, showcasing an inspiring selection of projects that have shaped the architectural landscape over the past year. It’s a great honor not only to be selected, but also to be featured on the cover.

The Herta Mohr Building, formerly Cluster South of the Faculty of Humanities at Leiden University, originally designed by Joop van Stigt, demonstrates how reuse, innovation, and respect for heritage can come together in a powerful transformation.

Many thanks to the editorial team: Uri Gilad (Office Winhov), Stephan Petermann (MANN, Volume), and Annuska Pronkhorst (Crimson) for their keen eye and appreciation.
