Lighthouse wins the HHF Award 2025

The 109-metre-tall Lighthouse in Eindhoven, designed by De Zwarte Hond, has been named the best high-rise of 2025. The building emerged as the winner in a poll among high-rise enthusiasts from the Holland High-Rise Forum (HHF), held on the discussion platform SkyscraperCity.com. Traditionally, Dutch members are invited to vote in the final week of the year on all buildings of at least fifty metres in height that were completed in the past year.

Lighthouse is located in the vibrant Strijp-S district and is the tallest residential tower in Southeast Brabant. With its 333 apartments and varied heights, Lighthouse responds to the scale of the surrounding buildings on this former Philips site. A stately landmark that marks the entrance to Strijp-S.

It’s always gratifying to receive recognition from the public—especially when it comes from true high-rise enthusiasts.
