Groningen
De Zwarte Hond is a design agency with approximately 120 employees, operating from offices in Groningen, Rotterdam, Berlin and Cologne. With expertise in architecture, urban design and strategy, we add value to every assignment and to every urban and regional context, working in multidisciplinary teams. Our portfolio is diverse and spans all scales: from material to city, from residential complex to neighbourhood, from broad-based schools to campuses, from theatres to city centres, from offices to work landscapes, and from transport hubs to urban regions. Our projects range from research to realisation.
Through a combination of social engagement and design craftsmanship, we contribute to making the Netherlands and neighbouring countries better and more beautiful. We design and advise at all scales, from regional planning to interior design.
