Boven Havenkwartier Kampen area plan approved
From an unattractive place to a lively hotspot. De Zwarte Hond was commissioned by the developers Junco BV and Mateboer Groep BV to draw up the area plan for the Boven Havenkwartier in Kampen. The adoption of the area plan by the municipality of Kampen is an important milestone in the development of the Boven Havenkwartier. In the coming period, De Zwarte Hond, in collaboration with Juli Design and The Missing Link, will develop the area plan into a final area plan with an architectural design.
The buildings along the Bovenhaven have a varied programme. In addition to housing, there is space along the quay for small shops and lively functions such as daytime catering or a café. The Havenplein on the IJssel provides space for neighbourhood activities.
This will transform the Boven Havenkwartier from an unattractive areon the edge of the city centre into a new, lively waterfront hotspot. A place where it will soon be wonderful to live and work. And in the evening, you can enjoy a drink on the terrace by the water.
