Visiting Professorship in Urban Design at Jade University of Applied Sciences, Oldenburg
In the winter semester 2025/26, a team from De Zwarte Hond led the urban design project of third-year Urban Design students at Jade Hochschule in Oldenburg as part of a visiting professorship — from initial analysis to a fully developed urban masterplan.
The central question explored how a historically evolved industrial area can be extended towards the city centre without losing its distinct identity.
The result: diverse, future-oriented proposals that open up new perspectives for the Nordkaje. We look forward to the coming semesters!
