De Zwart Hond has been nominated four times. Vote for us!

We are proud to say that a number of De Zwarte Hond designs have been nominated and selected for an award! Which building or project do you think is our top achievement? Or perhaps you’ll vote for all our nominated projects?

BNA
Which Dutch building is the best of 2020? That’s the question asked by the Trade Association for Dutch Architectural Firms (BNA). More specifically: which building has “the most added value for people and society”? The jury, chaired by former politician Neelie Kroes, has nominated ten projects. The Park Pavilion in the Hoge Veluwe national park by De Zwarte Hond and Monadnock has been nominated in the “identity and iconic value” category.

Heuvelink Architecture Prize
This year, the CASA architecture centre is organising the Heuvelink Prize, Arnhem’s biennial architecture prize for the best new construction project. The winners are chosen both by a professional jury and by a general audience (the public prize). One of the nominated projects is De Martinus by De Zwarte Hond.

Groningen Architecture Prize
Which building or project is the ultimate asset to Groningen? The Warehouse by De Zwarte Hond has been nominated from the more than 40 entries, all realized between May 1, 2019 and May 1, 2020.

Vredeman de Vries Prize
Our holiday home between dune and beach (Schiermonnikoog) is one of the 15 works shortlisted for the Vredeman de Vries Prize for Architecture 2020. These 15 entries represent the best of 2018 and 2019 in the field of architecture in Friesland. All 15 entries competing for the LC Public Prize are included in an exhibition in the Fries Museum and are covered in the well-known catalogue, which is published for each edition of the prize.
