Symposium ‘Pleasant Places in Education’ at Het Element

Last week, the Head, Heart, and Hands symposium took place at Het Element, the innovative vocational school building in Amersfoort designed by De Zwarte Hond.

This inspiring event was organized by IVVD in collaboration with Schooldomein and brought together professionals from the real estate sector, education, and architecture for an interactive debate on creating pleasant spaces in education for all users. André van der Slik represented De Zwarte Hond at the discussion table.

A special moment during the symposium was the symbolic transfer of the editor-in-chief position at Schooldomein. Sibo Arbeek passed the baton to Marco van Zandwijk, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the platform. With Sibo Arbeek stepping down as editor-in-chief, we bid farewell to a passionate voice in the field of educational housing. His dedication and vision have contributed to valuable discussions on the future of learning environments for many years.

Thanks to platforms like Schooldomein, we can share knowledge and collaborate on future-proof educational facilities. We thank Sibo for his impact and wish him all the best for the future!
